Our Partners

CHINA INVESTMENT STRATEGY

We focus on mature stage investments and pre-IPO deals, which have the potential to realize substantial gains in the short term. We manage the inherent risk in high growth markets like China through investments in industry leaders.  Examples of deals we’ve worked on include Baidu Financial, iQiyi, JD.com, and others.

Additionally, we limit our deal flow to innovative technologies that take advantage of China’s new wave of high-tech and consumer driven businesses. Our investment focus targets two major trends that best align with China’s core capabilities and future direction:

consumer technology
Increased median income has led China to become a consumption-driven economy, and this trend will continue steadily. Our aim is to curate investment opportunities in consumer technologies that cover industries like Big Retail (the integration of online, offline, logistics and data across a single value chain), Entertainment, Education, Health and Nutrition.
industrial technology
China is rapidly transforming from a consumer goods manufacturing economy to a more innovative, industrial economy. With the adoption of the ‘Made In China’ 2025 plan, a state backed initiative to shift toward advanced manufacturing and automation, mid-long term investments in advanced industries like Intelligent Manufacturing, Mobile Technology, AI, and Big Data are extremely promising.
